The Story
Challenge
Lenny J Media had already been YohDev's ongoing content partner for several years when founder Andrew Hewitt launched Triad Dev Connect — a monthly tech, design, and AI networking event for the Winston-Salem area. Running a great event wasn't the hard part. YohDev needed proof of momentum to keep attendance climbing month over month, recruiting material to reach qualified local tech talent, and promotional content for their meetup landing pages to keep driving new sign-ups — without pulling their own team off the event to produce any of it.
Solution
Lenny J Media now handles production for Triad Dev Connect as a recurring, embedded partnership. Every month, the team sets up production on-site, shoots the event recap, captures event photography and stills, and records each speaker session in long-form. Post-production happens in the days after, and the full package — recap video, long-form speaker content, and stills — is delivered through a shared Google Drive so YohDev's marketing team can promote next month's event without waiting on production.
Outcome
Eight months in, Triad Dev Connect has become one of YohDev's strongest channels for both recruiting and business development: attendance is climbing an average of 10% month over month, the event has surfaced 7–10 qualified candidates for YohDev's hiring pipeline, and generated 10 qualified business leads — several of which have converted into new partnerships and paid work, including two sales deals directly attributed to the event. YohDev estimates a 400% return on its production investment.
